Coming to Our Winestock™ Music Festival? Some Travel Tips:

Travel to Pender Island twice a day, morning or evening, via BC Ferries from Tsawassen on the Mainland, or 6 times a day from Schwartz Bay on Vancouver Island. Access schedule times at www.bcferries.com. Shuttles will be available to transport you to and from the ferry terminal and Morning Bay at a small cost. Simply stand by the Winestock™ sign at the ferry terminal on Pender and someone will pick you up.

Float planes from Vancouver also depart 3 times a day from the South Terminal just south of Vancouver International Airport, landing at Port Washington on Pender Island. Contact Seair Seaplanes. Pender Taxi can provide transport to and from the seaplane.

Accommodation on Pender is available at all levels from the 5-star resort Poet's Cove to the campsites at Port Browning Marina or the provincial government campsite (check with BC Parks). Numerous B&Bs and small inns dot the Island. Access them by searching for Pender B&Bs or Pender accommodation. Some of our favorites include Delia's Shangri-la, the Oceanside Inn, Sahhali Oceanfront B&B, and Arcadia-by-the-Sea.

For a spectacular waterfront location, check out Lou Henshaw's beachfront house at The Beach House on Pender.

You can buy groceries on Pender at Tru-Valu Foods in the Driftwoid Centre, as well as gas and other supplies. Enjoy Pender's small cafes such as Hope Bay Cafe or Port Browning Marina Resort, or 5-star dining at Poet's Cove. Food will be available at the concert site.

The best way to go to Winestock™ is by boat. Moorage is available at Port Browning Marina, at Otter Bay Marina 250-629-3579 or at Poet's Cove. Pender Taxi (Ph 250-629-2222) can provide transportation to and from the concert.

For the brave (the waters are not very protected) drop an anchor off Morning Bay and dinghy in, then simply dinghy back to your boat after the concert and sleep right there.
