Lanny Martinium's Stone Boat Vineyard on the Black Sage Bench has produced some of the Okanagan Valley's best red winegrapes since it was first planted in 1992. Morning Bay has been the recipient of some of that fruit, including this Cabernet Sauvignon, which Morning Bay has purchased since 2002.

The 2004 vintage was warm and a long Indian summer ripened rich berry flavours while preserving critical acidity. We aged the wine for three years in used French barriques, concentrating fruit flavours and adding darker, earthier layers. Bottle finished for six months before release, this wine is a fine expression of European-style food wines. Enjoy with red meat or rich ragout sauces.
